Greetings from the other side of the fence (mine is overrun with invasive and noxious weeds)! As promised, I have returned in June, and not a nanosecond sooner. My initial plan was to come back from hiatus a week ago, but my extra classes during the summer are still taking up slots in my schedule usually reserved for “slack off time”. In summary, I looked at the math, panicked, and procrastinated. Then I did nothing until today, which resulted in an incomplete layout. While I continue to edit it, I hope you enjoy the revival of a dark design for the blog. And do notify me of any broken links or misaligned elements. I feel relieved to be back.
Thank you all for the support and patience! Please don’t underestimate the power of your kind words.

How is everyone? I’ve missed interacting with my readers or writing to myself in most cases.
I love the “earth” colors orange and green!
Halloween, eh? But man, the banner took me forever to paint (the actual portrait is larger) and I still want to fix it.
Oh my holy. Is that Tavia?
I didn’t notice until it said, “featuring Tavia Yeung”, literally! I thought you featured yourself! Did you draw the picture yourself?
I didn’t know you like Tavia. Actually, I kind of guessed, haha.
Your layouts so always so dark but neat and organised. Welcome back Aeris!
Hi, sugar! Thank you for your comments. It’s actually supposed to be a Eurasian version of Tavia. I like to use certain actresses to practice painting and mixing – she’s one of them. With more time and practice, I’d probably paint in Ray and turn it into a FungYi banner. Haha. I don’t know…
ooh, please do create a FungYi banner. That’ll be awesome
Hi, Rea. Thank you for the encouragement. I remember my first banner here featured them, so in a way it would be nice returning to a starting point.
However, be warned, as I have less experience painting men. Just don’t kill me later for butchering it, ok?
Great work on the banner of Tavia, Aeris! The nose and lips looks like her the most. I was wondering, are you a fan of Moses or Ma Ming? He he…
Thank you, hyn5!
I am not a fan of Moses or Kenneth, but I get the feeling you are.
