I was actually hoping that Fala Chen won the ‘my favourtie female character’ award. Her role as Gam Wing Hing in moonlight Resonance was well acted and she is really lovable and sweet in the show.

sugar – Yep, I finally had some free time last weekend to finish Last One Standing, and overall it did not disappoint.

cF – Did you also listen to Louise’s acceptance speech for her “Most Favorite Female Character” win?

mukoj – I understand how you feel, but I still think the script of Last One Standing is more complex and well-written than that of Moonlight Resonance. There are too many cheesy family scenes and not enough character development in the latter.

Regarding the awards, I agree that most of them were handed out to deserving winners. It’s true that under normal circumstances, every actor/actress improves over time, but Derek Kwok and Tavia Yeung are beyond the “Most Improved” category.

Conversely, I did not find the plot of Last One Standing as good as that of Moonlight Resonance. I thought the “sequel” idea was stupid and lame as well, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. I thought that most of the awards were deserved, especially the Wong Cho Lam one, because he really stood out this year. Although Derek was a strong competition, he hasn’t really improved; he’s always that good. TAVIA!!

I totally agree with what you said re Louise Lee’s speech. When I watched that part I found myself getting quite offended that she utterly ignored the other two nominees. Totally rude and disrespectful. I would’ve so laugh if the award went to Kevin or Roger. I’d like to see what she would’ve done then..

Oh, I see what you mean about what Hor Ma said (LSK). She was like, one is my husband’s and 2 is my sons. Like leaving Kevin and Roger out. I noticed that too lol. Have you finished Last One Standing?
